About Me

I am a Computer scientist, irresistibly attracted by Art, married and in love. Belgian/Walloon (no one really knows nowadays), the only place I’ll ever feel owning to is the green valley I was born in.

I started young to program in the Basic language, mimicking my brother’s Pascal Programming homeworks, then I learned C/C++ at the night school beside my regular course at the high school. Programming then became a very involving passion.

I was not very enthusiastic nor very assiduous at the college, but still, I apparently made myself “remarkable” enough so one of my teachers started to nickname me the “Processus Parallèle” (that’s for the story of this blog). I’m an autodidact. I like it. And in fact, for worse or for better, I couldn’t make myself otherwise.

I’ve been working most of my 2002+ professional career around the Java Enterprise and the free software ecosystem, building pieces of enterprise applications, and particularly frameworks. I’m currently working as a “Software Architect” in an international financial software company.

Technology, music, books, fun stuff and politics are my main hobbies. This is pretty much everything you’ll find in this blog (well if you *ever* find something in this blog of course).

Also, I think slang, dark humor and (self-)derision is funny most of the time. So either will you too or you’d better pass your way over my posts :)
